We advance health equity by challenging systemic barriers, promoting inclusive care, and ensuring every Black community has the resources, access, and support needed to live full, healthy, and empowered lives.
Health equity is a cornerstone of justice. From chronic illness and maternal health to mental wellness and food access, systemic inequality continues to harm Black communities. At the NAACP, we advocate for policies that expand access to affordable, quality healthcare, support Black healthcare professionals, and address the social factors that shape our well-being. Through education, partnerships, and grassroots action, we are building healthier futures for our families and our communities.
