The Eugene NAACP General Meeting November 2026 is Wednesday, November 18, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the NAACP office in the Clear Lake Community Center, 4646 Barger Drive in Eugene, with an option to join online. The monthly general membership meeting of the NAACP Eugene-Springfield Branch is where members hear updates, weigh in on the branch’s priorities and plan the work ahead on health, education, voting rights and racial justice in Lane County.
Where Members Shape the Branch’s Work
Each month the NAACP Eugene-Springfield Branch brings its members together to learn, connect and take action. General meetings are the place where the branch reports on its programs, hears from guest speakers and asks members for input on the issues that matter most in Eugene, Springfield and the rest of Lane County. The branch will send the November agenda to members the week before the meeting.
The October general meeting featured Sybil Hebb, Director of Legislative Advocacy at the Oregon Law Center, who spoke about free, income-based civil legal aid across Oregon, including advice, representation and referrals. The branch shared the meeting notes and presentation slides with members afterward, and the November meeting builds on that work as the branch looks toward the 2027 legislative session.
Attend in person at the Clear Lake Community Center or join online through the link in the branch’s November newsletter.

A Busy Month for the Eugene-Springfield Branch
The Eugene NAACP General Meeting November 2026 comes in the middle of a full calendar. The branch runs Open Gym every Wednesday evening, Game Night on Friday, November 13, Cultural Story Time on Saturday, November 21, and the monthly BIPOC Community Dinner on Tuesday, November 24 at the Lavender Network. Its BIPOC Food Pantry serves more than 80 families, and volunteers bag food every week. Because of Veterans Day, the food bagging for the week of November 11 moves to Thursday, November 12.
Members can also help shape a city project. The City of Eugene’s Office of Equity and Community Engagement, Planning Division and Cultural Services Division are collecting stories to expand what is known about local Black history, with input accepted through December 15. The City of Springfield is surveying residents on a 20-year plan to make walking, biking and rolling safer, open through late November.
