In celebration of Black History Month, the NAACP proudly presents the Alaska Black History Month Community Events Series, a statewide collection of cultural, educational, civic, and economic empowerment programs taking place throughout February 2026.
This month-long series brings together community leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, faith institutions, and civic partners to honor Black excellence, preserve history, and strengthen collective progress across Alaska. Each event reflects the ongoing commitment to justice, opportunity, and cultural pride.
From policy advocacy and business development to music, faith, and historical reflection, these gatherings provide meaningful opportunities for connection, learning, and celebration.
Community Invitation
All events are open to the public and designed to uplift, educate, and empower community members across Alaska.
