DESCRIPTION:The 32nd Annual NUBIAN JAM Community Celebration\, sponsored by the Snohomish County Black Heritage Committee\, will take place on July 27\, 2024. This event celebrates the richness and beauty of African American heritage and culture. \nAttendees can enjoy: \n\nA variety of vendors selling food\, wares\, art\, and other products.\nRepresentatives and resource tables providing information on services\, education\, health\, wellness\, and resources available in Snohomish County.\nEntertainment\, fashion shows\, activities\, and games for kids.\nThe NJ24 3-on-3 basketball tournament.\nA special ceremony honoring Black Snohomish County high school graduates.\n\nMission: The SCBHC aims to acknowledge and celebrate Black heritage by educating the community about African American culture\, promoting racial harmony\, and embracing cultural diversity and inclusion. \nThe event is FREE\, and shuttles will be available for off-site parking. \nFor more information\, call 425-583-7739 or visit Nubian Jam or the SCBHC Facebook Page. \nPodcast Interview: DanVonique Reed and Kevin P.
