DESCRIPTION:The NAACP Alaska Oregon Washington State Area Conference (AOWSAC) is proud to present the 2026 LGBTQ Policy Agenda Think Tank Session\, in collaboration with the Black Prisoners Caucus and SURGE (Surge for Justice). \nAs we approach the upcoming legislative session\, it is imperative that we mobilize to shape the 2025–2027 LGBTQ Policy Agenda. This session is designed to center the lived experiences of our communities and ensure those voices directly inform legislative priorities. \n \n\n📅 Date: Sunday\, December 28\, 2025 \n⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM PST \n📍 Location: Address provided upon RSVP \n\nParticipants will explore the power dynamics of politics and engage in collaborative discussions to co-develop policy priorities that authentically reflect the needs of Black and Queer communities. \n \n\nFacilitators\nPolitical Analyst NiRae Petty\nNAACP LGBTQ Chair Deaunte Damper \n\nThis is a critical opportunity to unite\, strategize\, and contribute to meaningful policy change.
