In Alaska\, the path to getting there has its own hurdles: high building costs\, a tight market in Anchorage and the Mat-Su\, and long distances between rural communities and the lenders and programs that serve them. Black families across the state feel those hurdles twice\, because the gap in homeownership that started with redlining has never fully closed. \nThis summit is about closing that gap one household at a time.
