The NAACP Alaska Oregon Washington State-Area Conference (AOWSAC) is proud to announce a powerful collaboration with the Black Prisoners Caucus and SURGE (Surge for Justice).
As we approach the upcoming legislative session, it is imperative that we mobilize to shape the 2025–2027 LGBTQ Policy Agenda. This series of “Think Tank Sessions” is designed to center the lived experiences of our communities. We are coming together across our intersections to understand the power dynamics of politics and to co-develop legislative priorities that truly reflect the needs of Black and Queer communities.
FACILITATORS:
The sessions will be guided by Political Analyst NiRae Petty and NAACP LGBTQ Chair Deaunte Damper.
