The Linn Benton NAACP Juneteenth Homecoming Celebration 2026 is a free, community-wide event honoring the legacy of Juneteenth and the enduring strength of Black communities across the Willamette Valley. Everyone is welcome.

The Linn Benton NAACP Juneteenth Homecoming Celebration 2026 brings together families, community leaders, and allies for an afternoon of culture, joy, and reflection. Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Texas finally received word of their freedom — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a day of remembrance, resilience, and celebration that belongs to all of us.

Keynote Speaker and Workshop Presenter Dr. Dana Emerson will lead a powerful session designed to inspire, educate, and mobilize attendees. Dr. Emerson’s presence reflects the Linn Benton NAACP’s commitment to pairing celebration with purpose — honoring the past while equipping the community for the future.
