The Linn Benton NAACP Juneteenth Homecoming Celebration 2026 brings together families, community leaders, and allies for an afternoon of culture, joy, and reflection. Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Texas finally received word of their freedom — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a day of remembrance, resilience, and celebration that belongs to all of us.
Keynote Speaker and Workshop Presenter Dr. Dana Emerson will lead a powerful session designed to inspire, educate, and mobilize attendees.
